IT services provider Mindtree will declare its January-March quarter (Q4FY15) earnings today. The management already painted a bleak picture for March quarter, hence the street is not expecting great numbers from the company. For FY15/FY16, however, the management said it would beat NASSCOM guidance.

According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, profit of the company may decline 4.8 percent sequentially to Rs 134 crore during the quarter ended March 2015 while revenue may increase 0.5 percent to Rs 917 crore.

Dollar revenue growth is expected to be flat at USD 147.8 million in fourth quarter of financial year 2014-15 against USD 147.7 million in previous quarter.

Organic dollar revenue may show a small sequential decline due to cross currency impact and delay in commencement of projects at two clients in retail/CPG (consumer packaged goods) vertical.

Overall reported numbers will include the revenues from Discoverture that was acquired by Mindtree on February 13, 2015. The street expects Discoverture to contribute USD 1.7 million to revenue during the quarter.

Operating profit (EBITDA) is likely to slip 4.3 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 181.5 crore. Margin may decline 100 basis points to 19.8 percent in March quarter due to delay in commencement of the projects as well as cross currency headwinds.

Attrition will be closely watched as it has been spiking up. It was 18.1 percent in the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, the management (during March quarter) reiterated that it will exceed NASSCOM’s FY15 dollar revenue growth estimate of 12.3 percent and also expects to beat NASSCOM’s FY16 dollar revenue growth guidance of 12-14 percent for industry.
