Hester Biosciences Q3 net up 22% at Rs 5.8 cr

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.75 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Hester Biosciences said in a filing to BSE.

    Hester Biosciences today reported a 22.10 percent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 5.80 crore for the third quarter ended December, mainly on account of good sales.

    The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.75 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Hester Biosciences said in a filing to BSE.

    Standalone net sales of the company also rose to Rs 28.52 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 24.17 crore for the same period a year ago.

    Nepal plant of the company has commenced commercial production on November 15, 2016, Hester Biosciences said.

    Shares of Hester Biosciences were today trading at Rs 759 per scrip in the afternoon trade on BSE, up 2.94 percent from the previous close.
