Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) posted 10 percent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 72.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 66 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, it said in a filing to BSE.
Total income from operations declined to Rs 247.7 crore, over Rs 253.7 crore in the year-ago period.
The total expenses of the company duirng the July-September quarter increased marginally to Rs 215.5 crore, over Rs 213.7 crore in the year-ago period.
