In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Sandeep Batra, Executive Director of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company discussed the company's Q3 performance.
Batra said we have two segments; protection and savings and both the segments have done very well during nine-month period.
He further said that our savings business has grown 25 percent and protection business has grown 32 percent.
According to him, industry is expected to grow in line with the nominal gross domestic product (GDP) and we expect to grow ahead of that.
"In terms of sequential growth for the next quarter or so we have to factor in that we are going to grow on a top of a very high base post demonetisation," he added.
