S Chand and Company has posted a weak quarter with a near 40 percent drop in their topline. The loss on the EBITDA level has widened to near Rs 20 crores.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Himanshu Gupta, MD of the company said Q4 normally contributes 80 percent of annual revenue, he said.
On acquisitions, he said, “We are looking at couple of opportunities in the western and southern markets. The opportunities are being evaluated by the company and we have not come on a firm commitments to them.”
The company is also looking at a small opportunities in the international curriculum space outside India, he added.
He is confident of closing one acquisition before the end of FY18.
