Dilip Buildcon share price jumped more than 5 percent intraday on September 5 after the company declared the lowest bidder for the tender floated by the Konkan Railway Corporation.

The project is for the construction of a Twin Tube Unidirectional Tunnel (2-Lanes in each Traffic Direction) in the Kozhikode and Wayanad Districts of Kerala State on Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis including a four-lane approach road for direct connectivity between Anakkampoyil – Kalladi – Meppadi.

The company in the quarter that ended June 2024 posted a net profit of Rs 119.49 crore, a surge of 842.24% from the year-ago period.

The share price surged more than 80 percent in the past year.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 588.40 and a 52-week low of Rs 286.25 on  August 28, 2024, and October 25, 2023, respectively.

Currently, the stock is trading 1.94 percent below its 52-week high and 101.57 percent above its 52-week low.
