Jayesh Sanghrajka, the incoming CFO of Infosys
In a surprising move at India’s second-largest IT company, Infosys’ chief financial officer (CFO) Nilanjan Roy stepped down after nearly five years at the firm on December 11th. Now, Jayesh Sanghrajka, the executive vice president and deputy CFO, will be taking over Roy’s role starting April 1, 2024.
Here are five key things about new Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka:
- Sanghrajka was promoted as the deputy CFO of Infosys in 2015 where he handled multiple portfolios like investor relations, treasury and tax management and even mergers and acquisitions.
- He has been associated with Infosys for nearly 18 years. His first stint was between 2000 to 2007 and he Joined Infosys again in the year 2012 as vice president and corporate financial controller.
- In his professional career, Sanghrajka has held several senior-level positions in companies including KPMG, Rediff, and Mu Sigma.
- Not only does he manage everything finance for Infosys, but Sanghrajka is also an audit committee member of Cars24, an online car buying and selling platform,
- Sanghrajka is a chartered accountant and a cost accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He studied master's in finance and accounting at the University of Mumbai.
