Tolling remains important business to the company: MEP Infra

MEP Infrastructure Developers has achieved the milestone one for the project of four-laning of Mahuva to Kagavadar of NH-8. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Jayant Mhaiskar, VC and MD of the company spoke about the latest happenings in his company and sector.

MEP has achieved the first milestone in terms of the physical completion of the project, he said.

Total bid cost is Rs 604 crore and have received Rs 46 crore towards the first milestone achievement from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), he added.

There are 5 milestones to be achieved in hybrid annuity model (HAM) project.

Tolling remains the darling of the company as far as bidding and working on the projects is concerned, said Mhaiskar.

Speaking on sea link, he mentioned that it goes for 18 percent tariff revision in April 2018.
