Q: The online battle clearly intensifying for Snapdeal, we believe latest number shows sales volumes have urged 9 times the average sales, break that up for us? A: We are very, very glad with the kind of numbers we have seen 9x-10x kind of jump from our average sales day is just phenomenal for us and we have seen it across the board, across all product lines and the good thing is it is just day 1 of the sale. The sale goes on till October 6 and it doesn’t end there, because the entire Diwali period of October we will have continuous sales and the success of this sale I would attribute it to multiple factors. One, we being able to get amazing offers across the board through our partnerships with key brands be it in electronics or be it in fashion or be it in home. We being able to get some really good exclusive products and exclusive offers, which standout and are attractive to consumers. Q: Where are volumes coming in for and how many bookings you have been able to get on the mobile? A: So through mobile a very significant portion of all our transactions are through mobile be it app and wap put together, so that’s about 80 odd percent and that’s a high. Typically, it’s around in the 70s and that moved up to about 80 percent during the sale. Q: What the expectation is in terms of gross merchandise volumes (GMVs) this Diwali, is it likely to be better than last Diwali? A: Yes, the first day of sale which was yesterday, we have already clocked the maximum sales we have ever done in a single day and we have 30 days prior to Diwali, so this entire month is there for us. From that perspective we are very, very confident at least looking at the first day and the second day today sale so far we will exceed all expectation.
