In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Sandeep Kumar, MD of Tata Metaliks spoke about the latest happenings in the company and the sector.
Kumar said that the problem with Tata Metaliks about three-four years back was that it was in the red and it was severely in the red, so the parent company Tata Steel had decided to merge this company along with Tata Steel but that amalgamation was called off almost two years back.
He further said that the Group Chairman has said there will be simplification of the group structure.
There will not be much synergy benefits in case company merges with other Tata Group company, he added.
Talking about business, he said Q4 margin will be better than earlier.
New power plant to boost EBITDA by Rs 40-45 crore, he added.
