Lessons In Leadership: Sundram Fasteners' journey

Sundram Fasteners is a 50 year old company started with just a few lakh rupees and now a turnover of Rs 3,500 crore.

The TVS Group company that makes unpoetic stuffs like fasteners, powertrain components, radiator caps, sintered metals parts and other such auto parts.

They may sound small and tiny in the bigger scheme of cars and trucks but the company's sharp focus on these small parts over the last 50 years has solidified its position as a global leader. Today the company has clients across the globe spanning European and South American countries. As well it is India's first company to get ISO 9000 certification, the first to set up a factory in China and often one of the first name carmakers, competitors and investors recall for quality, for growth and for profits.

All this was achieved under an able leadership of company's CMD, Suresh Krishna.
