Indian IT resilient, well placed to adapt to changes: Wipro

Wipro's new CEO Abidali Neemuchwala believes in the resilience of the Indian IT industry and said that it is just going through a change and sees Wipro well positioned to accomodate these changes.

With the growth slowdown, declining profits and uncertainty due to Brexit hovering over the Indian IT sector, analysts have started to speculate that the hay days of the IT outsourcing industry may be near its end.

Contrary to such notions Wipro's new CEO Abidali Neemuchwala believes in the resilience of the Indian IT industry and said that it is just going through a change and sees Wipro as well-positioned to accomodate these changes.

In an interview with Mint, Neemuchwala listed his views on the IT space and Wipro's future plans along with his 8 month experience as the company's new CEO.
