Tyre manufacturer Ceat Ltd signed India's under-19 cricket captain Ishan Kishan for a 3-year bat endorsement deal.

Ishan Kishan will join the likes of Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma who have already been signed up by the company.

On the association, Ceat Ltd MD Anant Goenka said: "Our objective is to identify young talent and support them in their international cricketing journey. Thus, we have signed the very promising Ishan Kishan as Ceat's youngest on-field representative." The company has once again chosen a cricketer who lives up to the Ceat brand that resonates with qualities of energetic youthfulness and dynamism, he added.

"We are confident that he has all the required qualities to progress as a well-rounded cricketer," Goenka said.

As part of the deal, the young wicketkeeper-batsman will use bat prominently displaying the Ceat insignia in all formats of the game.

The association has been facilitated by IOS Sports & Entertainment, a company that exclusively manages Ishan Kishan, Ceat said.

Kishan, who led the Indian team which finished runner-up in the just concluded ICC U-19 World Cup tournament, had made his Ranji trophy debut against Assam in December 2014.
