Bajaj Finserv’s managing director Sanjiv Bajaj insists that the two insurance companies are well capitalised for the next 2-3 years. Speaking on the sidelines of CII Insurance Summit, he emphasised that their partner Allianz has the option of raising its stakes in Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. "Our partner Allianz has the option to take its stake up and I believe together we have created two very good quality insurance companies here. So I would welcome for them to take their stake up," he said. "We have had some informal discussions. But we don't have a timeline. And we will see how things unfold and as they do we will let you know," he added.
