Career Point Infosystems re-appoints Maheshwari as chairman

Career Point Infosystems, a tutorial firm, on Monday said it has re-appointed Pramod Maheshwari as Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of the company.

The company has approved the re-appointment of Maheshwari as Chairman, MD and CEO at its board of directors meeting held on March 26, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Besides, the company has re-elected Om Prakash Maheshwari as whole-time Director and CFO of the company.

Nawal Kishore Maheshwari was also re-appointed as whole-time director.

Tata Steel to launch course on steel making Tata Steel on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Metals and Chennai's Vel Tech University to start a post-graduate diploma course on iron and steel making.

Chief Technology Officer of Tata Steel T Venugopalan said that the course would be offered at the Jamshedpur campus and would be of three years' duration.
