Swarnajyothi Agro & Exports Limited one of the Transferor companies have merged into Octant Industries Limited (erstwhile Octant Interactivce Technologies Limited). The said transferor company is a major contributor to the business presently being run by Octant Industries Limited and prior to merger; the said transferor company is very much acquainted with its name in the international market.In view of acquaintance of the name Swarnajyothi Agro & Exports Limited in the international market, the Company changed its name from Octant Industries Limited to SWARNAJYOTHI AGROTECH & POWER LIMITED by a resolution approved by the Board of Directors and the Shareholders of the Company in their meetings dated February 28, 2013 and June 07, 2013 respectively and the same was also approved by Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh w.e.f.
