Transformative teal is the colour of the year 2026: Don’t miss Bollywood divas in the shade

WGSN has declared transformative teal to be the colour of the year for 2026. Representing the colours of nature and forest, it is a hue that has also been worn and celebrated by Bollywood divas recently and in the past.

With the global authority in consumer trend forecasting, WGSN, announcing transformative teal as the colour of the year 2026, it would be no surprise to see the shade make its way on the runway and in the upcoming collections of prestigious luxury brands.

The hue reflects nature and sustainability, moving away from beige and earthy tones to futuristic green-blue colours representing both the sea and the forest. It’s about refreshing balance and a sense of calm.

“Transformative Teal is a fluid fusion of blue and aquatic green that reflects the diversity of nature and taps into an Earth-first mindset. It represents change and redirection, and can help encourage resilience in the face of complex climate challenges,” the brand explained.

While it may not be restricted to just fashion and beauty and may extend to interiors and home décor as well, here’s a look at how Bollywood divas have embraced the colours, looking absolutely delightful in their choice of styles.
