Trust Sydney Sweeney to grab eyeballs with her career moves. The actress has caused quite a stir by announcing the launch of her lingerie line, Syrn, creating four distinct categories, “Seductress, Romantic, Playful and Comfy,” to cater to the mood of every woman.

The 28-year-old actress took to her Instagram account, dropping first pieces from the new collection. These include sheer bodysuits, lacy black lingerie, strappy tank tops, and more. Announcing the big reveal, she wrote, “The secret is finally out… say hello to @syrn…this is lingerie you wear for YOU, no explanation, no apology.”

Apparently, the SYRN lingerie sets come in 44 sizes, ranging from 30B to 42DDD. Most pieces are priced under $100. Their debut drop is from the category “Seductress” which has got fans excited already, with many sharing how they can’t wait to shop the pieces.

In a press release, Sydney revealed the reason she ventured into fashion. ”When I bought my first cute bra that actually fit, I wore it to pieces. Designing for different bodies is a huge part of SYRN. I wanted to create a place where women can move between all the different versions of who we are.”

”I love working on cars, I go waterskiing, I’ll dress up for the red carpet then go home to snuggle my dogs. I’m not one thing, no woman is. Lingerie is such a fun way to express yourself. You get to feel feminine, and you get to feel powerful. You get to keep it all for yourself, if you want,” she added.

While Sydney’s new venture is gaining traction, she has come under fire from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for filming an ad campaign that involved bras draped over the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles without seeking their permission.

Reportedly, Sydney’s production company Persuasion Pictures took permission from Los Angeles’ official film office FilmLA, but the Hollywood sign is owned and licensed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, making it necessary to obtain a permit from them as well.

This is not the first time Sydney’s made headlines over a campaign. Last year, she was all over the news for an American Eagle jeans advert whose slogan “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans” was criticised for being seen as a reference to white supremacy.
