Just like her sister Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty is a fitness enthusiast who knows all the right hacks for a quick and effective workout. She recently took to Instagram to share a treadmill routine for those who don’t have enough time for a full-length session.
The actress’ video features a 10-minute full-body treadmill workout, which starts with one minute of walking lunges - a great way to strengthen leg muscles and glutes, improve balance, and engage the core. Next is one minute of Farmer's Carries, which involves walking steadily with dumbbells in both hands. This exercise benefits the whole body, enhances grip strength, strengthens the core, and improves cardiovascular health.
There’s another minute of walking, during which light dumbbells are carried overhead. This helps burn extra calories, tone muscles, and boost heart health. Next comes a minute of reverse squat walks. Like lunges, they help strengthen the lower body, improve balance and coordination, and contribute to heart health while shedding extra calories. Finally, a one-minute run, a great cardio exercise for the entire body, wraps up the routine.
Shamita suggested repeating the workout a couple of times for the best results. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “Here’s a quick workout routine for those who’re pressed for time but still want to burn those calories! Repeat the routine 4–6 times and you’re sorted! @clubrpm”
Shamita’s workouts are always an exciting mix. She never lets them get boring and recently shared a workout video focused on spine health. Along with it, she wrote, “Articulation of the spine! Gosh this stretch feels so good!” In another Pilates workout, she focused on core strength and said, “It’s quite a balancing act doing abs with the stability ball!!”
