Dr. Rajesh Mehta, former Dean of Sola Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad along with his engineer son Purna Mehta, has developed a machine capable of determining whether a person suffers from night blindness at a nominal cost. The 'M Tech A' meter simulates conditions akin to a person trying to see with a single eye in darkness, gradually increasing the amount of light, until the individual can see with clarity.
