The set of the highly anticipated film "Welcome to the Jungle," directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, has suffered significant damage due to heavy rainfall in Mumbai.
The intense monsoon rains have caused substantial setbacks to the shooting schedule, delaying the project considerably.
The filmmakers had constructed an elaborate and enormous set for the film, which was scheduled to begin its marathon shooting session in the first week of August.
This session was set to feature all 34 leading actors and include shooting for a major song. However, the torrential downpour that has been lashing Mumbai has caused severe damage to this carefully constructed set, bringing the production to a temporary halt.
The entire crew is now working tirelessly around the clock to repair and reconstruct the damaged portions of the set.
Director Ahmed Khan has made the decision to resume shooting only once the set is fully restored, ensuring that the production quality remains uncompromised.
Director Ahmed Khan said,"It is unfortunate that a portion of the set got damaged due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai. So as a creative call I have decided to begin the shoot once the set is reconstructed. The crew is endlessly working on rebuilding the set and hopefully we will begin the shoot soon."
The unplanned delay has been challenging for the production team, but their commitment to the project remains unwavering. The gigantic set, which was meticulously designed for significant portions of the film, will be restored to its original grandeur to maintain the film’s vision.
Base Industries Group presents "Welcome to the Jungle," produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan. Despite the setback, the team is determined to overcome this challenge and bring the film to life as soon as possible.
With the crew's relentless efforts and the director's resolve, "Welcome to the Jungle" promises to be a cinematic spectacle worth the wait. Fans eagerly await the resumption of the shoot and the eventual release of this highly anticipated film.
