Actress Shweta Tiwari is all set to be seen in Paritosh Painter's comedy play Ek Main Aur Ek Two. The hysterically funny play promises a night filled with wit, humour, and ace performances.
The play is about Monika Duggal, a divorcee leading an elegant life in Colaba, and there is an interesting twist to how she solves her financial problems with two gentlemen. What follows is a bone-chilling story and a night packed with endless laughter.
Earlier, Kishwer Merchantt, in an exclusive chat with MoneyControl, spoke about her role in the play Ek Main Aur Ek Two. She revealed what her role is all about.
“I am doing a play called Ek Main Aur Ek Two. It is a very small role that I am playing. It is a very hilarious character that I am doing. It is a very different role from what I have actually done. I am playing a Parsi girl in it, and I have the lingo and stuff. It is going to be the best ever to date. It is very exciting. It has got Shweta Tiwari, Shweta Gulati, Suresh Menon, and Nasir Khan,” she told us.
On being asked how it was working with Shweta Tiwari after a gap of many years, Kishwer was all praise for Shweta.
“I have worked with her in Kasauti. I mean, it is always nice; she has been a very nice girl to me. Matlab mujhe koi problem hui nahi hai, unless kisi aur ko hai. I don't know. But with me, she has always been very nice,” she added.
Kishwer and Shweta had worked together at Kasauti Zindagi Ki.
Talking about the play, writer Paritosh Painter said: "Comedy is a wonderful way to connect with people and bring joy into their lives. 'Ek Main Aur Ek TWO' is a celebration of humor and the quirks of life. The cast has done an incredible job, and I believe the audience is in for a great time."
Catch the riotous comedy play and witness a night of laughter and unforgettable performances on July 6 and 7.
