Actor Sagar Parekh has made a comeback to Anupamaa, one of the most popular shows on Indian television, after a nearly two-year hiatus. Fans are already buzzing about his return as Samar, and they cannot hold their excitement.
"Honestly, the show has seen a lot of changes since I left," Sagar said, as reported by Filmibeat.
“It's quite unfortunate that the set where I used to shoot is no longer there. However, if I discuss it, the atmosphere remains unchanged. Everyone is so hospitable and diligent. I didn't notice a difference when I returned after all these months or years. I had the impression that I was there the entire time,” quoted the publication.
The actor went on to say that upon his return, there was an immediate sense of familiarity and comfort. "I received the same love and care, in the same manner. He grinned and remarked, "Being kind and friendly didn't need any effort on the part of anyone.”
Anupamaa is more than simply a show to Sagar; it's a feeling that influenced his acting career.
"This show has given me my identity in the profession and transformed my life. As a result, I developed both personally and as an actor. Working with Rajan Shahi sir and Rupali ma'am again felt like going home because he believed in me," he said tearfully.

Sagar acknowledges that his homecoming was sentimental. "It didn't seem like years had gone by when I returned to the set. I was greeted like family by everyone. It was just love and warmth," he remarked.
For the unversed, Sagar played the role of Samar in Anupamaa, and his character had died in a bid to save Anuj from getting shot. The current storyline focuses on Anupamaa visiting a village where she is soon going to find out the actual reason behind Samar’s death.
