Navjot Singh Sidhu made a grand comeback to Kapil Sharma’s show after a five-year hiatus, creating a buzz on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix India. The episode, which aired on Saturday, saw Sidhu reclaim his former spot, hijacking Archana Puran Singh's chair, much to the audience's delight and Archana's playful chagrin.

The episode kicked off with Kapil Sharma expressing his surprise at seeing Sidhu back on the show, comfortably seated in his old chair. Sidhu, the former cricketer-turned-politician, confidently announced his return, claiming it was due to popular demand. Archana, who had taken over Sidhu's spot five years ago, was quick to intervene, protesting against her unexpected dethronement. She playfully demanded that Kapil choose between her and Sidhu for the coveted seat on the show.

Caught in a tricky situation, Kapil humorously suggested an arm-wrestling match to decide who would keep the chair. Archana, however, dismissed this idea, pulling out her ultimate trump card – Sidhu's wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu. As soon as Navjot Kaur requested her husband to vacate the seat, Sidhu promptly complied, much to the amusement of everyone present.

Despite the playful rivalry, Archana and Sidhu shared a warm hug before Archana reclaimed her chair. The episode revealed that Navjot Singh Sidhu and his wife were the special guests for the evening, along with former cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his actor-wife Geeta Basra.

The episode continued with light-hearted moments, including a segment where Archana jokingly told Sidhu that she had been praying for his well-being ever since he left the show, just so she could keep her job. Sidhu responded with his characteristic charm, thanking her and remarking that her compliments would keep him feeling young for years to come. Kapil, always quick with his wit, teased Sidhu about flirting so openly in front of his wife, adding to the laughter.
