Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Dilip Joshi gets into a major spat with producer Asit Kumar Modi, read to know

Veteran actor Dilip Joshi, who plays the role of Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, reportedly had a fight with show's producer Asit Modi.

According to a source from the production house quoted by News 18's Showsa, Dilip Joshi and Asit entered heated conversation and that there was one instance when Dilip actually pulled the latter's collar.

The source futher said that Dilip, who is a very senior and respected actor, felt insulted when Asit ignored him and wen to meet another actor Kush Shah.

Kush had just wrapped his last day of the shoot on the show. "Dilip ji got very angry, and the two got into a heated argument. Dilip ji even held Asit Modi’s collar and threatened to leave the show. However, Asit bhai calmed him down. We don’t know how the two sorted their differences," the source shared.

The source further said that Dilip Joshi has in the past had several arguments with Asit Modi.

Reports says that the duo also got into a nasty fight during their Hong Kong schedule, and at that time Gurucharan Singh Sodhi intervened to resolve the situation.

Jennifer Mistry, who played the role of Roshan Kaur Sodhi in the show until her controversial quit a few years ago, also said that Asit did have a fight during the Hong Kong tour.

In the past many actors have quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah sighting rude behaviour and problems with Asit Kumar Modi.

Jennifer Mistry had also filed a sexual harassment case against Asit Kumar Modi. Recently Palak Sindhwani, who played the role of Sonu, also quit citing mental health issues at the end.

Talking about Dilip Joshi, he has been playing the role of Jethalal since the inception of this show in 2008.
