The show’s makers have released the first promo for Season 2.0, and within minutes of its release, the internet was buzzing with excitement, nostalgia and pure joy from long-time viewers.

The new promo transports the familiar characters—Angoori Bhabi, Tiwari, Vibhuti and Anita Bhabi—to an unfamiliar village called Ghoonghatganj.

There is an intriguing silence in the plot because nobody knows why they went there.

The mood gradually changes from inquisitive to eerie as they venture farther into the village. They focus on an odd-looking statue that causes you to pause right away.

Out of nowhere, the statue’s sari slips off and lands directly on Angoori Bhabi. It is from this moment that the tone of the story changes completely.

After the incident, Angoori Bhabi begins behaving in ways that are nothing like her usual bubbly self. Those around her can sense that something is off, and the tension builds beautifully.
