Surbhi Chandna has drawn a clear line with her critics, and she’s done it in a way only she can. In her latest Instagram post, the actress delivered a sharp message of self-ownership, using the line “Jo Karna Hai Kar” to signal that she’s no longer interested in meeting anyone else’s expectations.

The post has quickly become a talking point online, with fans praising her unfiltered confidence and the way she confronts trolling without losing her composure.

The video shows Surbhi in a bright fuchsia straight-fit kurta and matching trousers, moving around her room while going about her routine. The mood is relaxed, almost casual, and that’s exactly what gives the clip its power.

She’s seen eating a salad, dancing for a moment, pausing in corners of her room, and giving the sense that her life belongs solely to her. Over it all plays a viral audio clip that she lip-syncs to with quiet conviction.

The lines of the audio carry the spirit of her message: “Yeh mera jeevan hai. Main apne dhang se jiyunga. Main apne rang se jiyungi. Mujhe apna geet gana hai. Main kisi dusre ke taal par nachne ko raaji nahi hu. Nachna hoga toh nachungi. Nahi nachna hoga toh nahi nachungi.”

Her caption underlines that point with the bold phrase “Marzi Ki Maalkin,” followed by the unapologetic “Jo Karna Hai Kar.” She ends it with “When Trollers tell you how to be,” making it clear that the post is a response to the unsolicited opinions she receives on a regular basis. Rather than engaging in arguments, she lets the message speak for itself.

Fans immediately connected with the sentiment. One comment read, “I’m feeling like I got new inspiration from this reel.” Another user called it their “mantra.” Several jumped in with variations of “My life, my rules,” while others simply celebrated her charm, noting, “Nothing, just Chandu being Chandu.” Her laugh and easy confidence became recurring themes in the responses.

Surbhi has built a steady career since her debut in 2009 with a cameo in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Her breakthrough performance in Qubool Hai opened the door to roles in hit shows like Ishqbaaaz, Naagin 5, Sanjivani, and Sherdil Shergill. In 2024, she added a web debut to her resume with Amazon Mini TV’s Rakshak – India’s Braves.
