Stree 2 has achieved a remarkable feat, surpassing the lifetime Hindi box office collection of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR.

The horror-comedy film Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is making waves at the box office. Within just two weeks of its release, the movie has been breaking records, demonstrating its immense popularity with audiences.

Having already crossed Rs 428 crore worldwide, the film is poised to enter the prestigious Rs 500 crore club. This remarkable achievement highlights Stree 2's exceptional box office success.

Stree 2 has achieved a remarkable feat, surpassing the lifetime Hindi box office collection of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR. In just seven days, Stree 2 has amassed approximately Rs 289 crore, while RRR (Hindi version) earned Rs 274.31 crore in the Hindi-speaking market. This achievement underscores Stree 2's exceptional performance and strong audience appeal.

According to Sacnilk reports, Stree 2 maintained a Hindi occupancy of 30.45 per cent on Wednesday, with Lucknow reporting the highest occupancy at 51 per cent.

Maddock Films took to X and shared the recent numbers of the film at the box office. The post read, "Stree Mania continues! ₹428 crore worldwide GBO. India GBO ₹363 crore, overseas GBO ₹64.5 crore. Total net collection India: ₹308 crore Day 1-7: ₹289.6 crore. Day 8 (Thursday): ₹18.2 crore.”

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR created history with its premiere, becoming the first Indian film to cross the $3 million mark. Released on a massive scale of 10,200 screens, the film's captivating story of two Indian freedom fighters set in the 1920s resonated with audiences worldwide.

RRR was released on 10.2k screens and garnered $3 million from its premiere shows, making it the first Indian film to cross the $3 million mark. The film, which is set in the 1920s and tells the story of two Indian freedom fighters, had a record-breaking opening day on March 25, 2022, earning ₹223 crore worldwide.

In Stree 2, the town of Chanderi is terrorized by a headless monster named Sarkate, who kidnaps women. Vicky, Rudra, Jana, Bittu, and Shraddha's unnamed characters join forces to devise a plan to stop the menacing creature. Rajkummar Rao reprises his role as Vicky, while Shraddha Kapoor continues to portray the mysterious character without a name. Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Sunita Rajwar return as Rudra, Jana, Bittu, and Jana's mother, respectively.
