Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her first Karva Chauth with husband Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday, delighting fans by sharing playful moments from the festivities.

The actress shared stunning pictures of herself in a bridal red outfit earlier in the day, followed by a lighthearted reel where she comically expressed her hunger while observing the traditional fast.

In the Instagram video, Sonakshi is dressed in a light pink embroidered outfit, complemented by a traditional floral gajra in her hair. Zaheer, sporting a mustard yellow top, sits next to her, engrossed in his phone. The clip begins with Sonakshi playfully placing the gajra on her head and affectionately calling Zaheer “Jaan.” When he looks up, he asks, “What are you doing yaar?” Sonakshi responded saying, “I am very hungry. I don’t know what to do,” followed by their shared laughter.

The Heeramandi actress then asked Zaheer if he was not hungry to which Zaheer replied saying, “Very.” Sonakshi questioned him on a lighter note, “Why are you hungry?” Zaheer followed by his reply said, “Because same.”

Sonakshi then teased him stating, “Because I kept Karwa Chauth. Why did you keep Karwa Chauth?” In a sweet gesture Zaheer then said, “Because if I had eaten in front of you, you would have killed me.” The playful banter concluded with Sonakshi teasing Zaheer, leading to even more laughter. She captioned the post, “Find a pati who won’t let you starve alone… whatever his reason may be Happy Karwa Chauth… our first.”
