In a recent episode of Shark Tank India 3, Peyush Bansal provided comfort to Saumya Mishra, who experienced emotional distress following his pitch and an ensuing disagreement with Anupam Mittal.

Bansal's compassionate gesture earned him praise. However, new allegations have now surfaced. In an interview with a prominent news portal, Mishra asserted that Bansal, regarded as the 'worst' shark on the show, exploited her reputation for personal gain, describing it as a clever strategy.

Mishra clarified that she never used the word 'ladki' (girl) as attributed to her by Bansal. She explained that she referred to her therapists as therapists and was merely relaying the client's perspective.

Bansal seized upon this phrase, using it to enhance his own public image. Despite appearing supportive during the episode, Mishra claimed that Bansal was the least helpful of all the sharks. She felt that her broken state was capitalised upon by the others to bolster their own image.

Anupam Mittal also labelled Mishra as 'arrogant' during her pitch, leading her to express disappointment that the focus shifted to her character. She expressed concern about the impact this would have on her customers, employees, and friends once the episode aired. Mishra stressed that she never intended to insult anyone during the broadcast, emphasising that her words were exploited by the sharks.

According to reports in the media Soumya said, “Whenever I tried to explain something, they were catching certain words and hammering them. Peyush used the word ‘ladki’, I never said that, you can see the episode and unedited version. All I said was that ‘client ko lagta hai jo bhi ladki mera kare woh trained ho.’ I always referred to our therapists as therapists, I was just putting the client’s version and it was just the phrase. Peyush just hung on to it and I think it was a very smart attempt to build his own PR.”

She reportedly added, “In the episode, it seems like Peyush was very sweet as he came and consoled me but he was the worst of all. When I put my point of view and they saw that I was completely broken down. Just to bolden their image, he comes and says, ‘main toh aapko feedback de raha thha’ and all of that. But all that Peyush was doing all this while was to build his own brand at the cost of my image.”
