SEVENTEEN once again proved their top-tier professionalism during their Japan concert when an unexpected audio malfunction disrupted their performance. Thanks to their quick thinking and teamwork, many fans barely realised anything had gone wrong.
The issue surfaced during their performance of 24H. S.Coups, the group's leader, immediately sensed the problem, prompting members to remove their in-ear monitors and head towards the main stage. Recognising the malfunction's seriousness, S.Coups signaled everyone to regroup.
Instead of following the original choreography, SEVENTEEN shifted to the main stage, which had monitor speakers that allowed them to hear themselves — even without their usual beat cues. Though they lacked the comfort of their normal setup, the group performed flawlessly, maintaining strong vocals and coordination.
CARATs (SEVENTEEN's fandom) were full of praise for the group's calm under pressure. One fan commented, "Their vocals remained steady, and they kept communicating with staff without missing a beat."
Another remarked, "They handled it so smoothly that if they hadn't shown slight signs of adjusting, I wouldn’t have noticed anything went wrong."

Many fans admitted they only learned about the severity of the technical glitch after the show. One CARAT noted, "It felt like they’d been in the industry for a hundred years with how quickly they adapted."
Another joked about Hoshi’s famously intense personality, saying, "I’m scared the audio team might get scolded by Hoshi after this."
The group — S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino — is currently in Japan for their 2025 FAN MEETING 'HOLIDAY' tour.
The tour kicked off on April 24 at Kyocera Dome Osaka, with additional shows on April 26 and April 27, followed by performances at Saitama Super Arena on May 10 and 11.
