Wrestler and motivational speaker Sangram Singh has broken his silence on the swirling rumours about trouble in his marriage to actress Payal Rohatgi. The speculation gained traction after Payal recently resigned from the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation, a move that raised many eyebrows and triggered talk of a possible rift between the couple.

Addressing the rumours, Sangram firmly denied any talk of divorce, reaffirming their long-standing bond. Speaking on the occasion of their third wedding anniversary, he said, “There is no talk of divorce between us. We have been together for 14 years and will always be. I keep all my focus on doing good work. I do not pay attention to these talks of divorce, and I will also request her to not believe in such rumours.”

The couple, who got married in 2022 after many years of courtship, have often expressed support for each other’s personal and professional growth. While Payal’s exit from the charitable foundation did spark assumptions, Sangram clarified that the decision was entirely hers and should not be misread.

“This is Payal ji’s decision and I respect it. Both of us have different approaches towards work. In such a situation, whatever Payal ji must have thought, she must have done it for the better. I wouldn’t stop her. She is free to take her own decisions. There is no one wrong here. Every person is different,” he shared.

Following Payal's resignation, Sangram’s elder sister, Sunita Kumari, has been appointed as the new director of the foundation. She will work closely with Sangram to carry forward the organisation’s philanthropic goals.

Sangram’s statements put a stop to the speculations, reaffirming that while their paths may sometimes differ professionally, their personal commitment remains intact.
