Salman Khan jokes about Sohail Khan's failed marriage

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh parted ways 24 years after their wedding. However, Salman Khan has recently taken a dig at his brother Sohail’s failed marriage with his ex-wife.

During the Season 3 of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, Salman appeared on the premiere episode and reflected on Sikandar's failure, wedding plane, house intruder and more. He also takes a subtle dig at Sohail and Seema’s failed relationship.

Salman recalled an incident with Avinash Gowariker, saying that Avinash had told him he would stay for a few days until he found a house. When Salman asked him years later about the house hunt, Avinash replied that he had found one soon after arriving but had subleased it because Salman's house had such a great vibe.

However, Salman then added, “Usi dauran Sohail ne bhaag kar shadi karli. Ab woh bhi bhag gayi hain [During that time, Sohail eloped (with Seema) and now even she has run away].”

Bollywood superstar further recalled how Sohail asked Avinash to empty the room to make space for him and Seema.

For the unversed, Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh eloped and tied the knot in an Arya Samaj wedding in 1998, followed by a nikkah. The former couple welcomed their first son, Nirvan, in 2000 and their second son, Yohan, in 2011.

Sohail and Seema finalised their divorce in 2022. However, both Sohail and Seema have now moved on in their lives separately, while co-parenting their kids. Seema is now dating her ex-fiance, Vikram Ahuja. Meanwhile, Sohail is rumoured to be in a relationship with a TV anchor, Shefali Bagga.
