Actor Silambarasan, on the occasion of Tamil New Year, officially announced that composer Sai Abhyankkar is part of his upcoming movie STR 49. He shared this exciting news through his social media, along with photos featuring both of them. He added that this marks the beginning of a fresh chapter filled with music and positive energy.
STR 49 is directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who gained fame with the film Parking. The movie is produced by Aakash Baskaran under the banner of Dawn Pictures. They have also backed Idly Kadai and Parasakthi.
Sai Abhyankkar is a well-known name in the independent music scene. He has composed popular tracks like Katchi Sera, Aasa Kooda and Sithiri Puthiri. With STR 49, he will be working on his fifth film project.
His debut as a film composer will be in Raghava Lawrence’s Benz, followed by other major films like Suriya 45, PR04 by Pradeep Ranganathan and AA22xA,6 which marks a collaboration between director Atlee and actor Allu Arjun.

Meanwhile, Silambarasan is also involved in other big projects. He recently finished shooting for Thug Life and is now working on a film with director Desingh Periyasamy. He also has a movie lined up with director Ashwath Marimuthu.
