Bison actor Dhruv Vikram allegedly rejects Tamil version of Kill

After the success of Bison, Dhruv Vikram has swiftly become one of the most talked-about young performers in Tamil film industry. But there are rumors that he may have left the Tamil version of the Hindi action-thriller Kill, possibly on the recommendation of his Bison director Mari Selvaraj.

Casting Decision Sparks Rumors

Online reports say that Dhruv was supposed to play the lead character in the Tamil version of Kill, which was played by Lakshya in the Bollywood version. But now, rumors say that Mari Selvaraj told Dhruv not to sign any movies with a lot of violence after how intense Bison was.

Dhruv has reportedly turned down the assignment out of respect for the filmmaker. At this point, the information is still unsubstantiated, and neither the actor's team nor the people behind the remake have made an official remark.

There were also rumors that Vijay Kumar would play the bad guy in the Tamil adaptation, however there have been no further updates on the film's progress.

About the Movie "Kill"

Kill is a high-octane action thriller that stars Lakshya and Raghav Juyal. It came out on July 5, 2024, after its premiere at IFFI 2023.

The movie is about Amrit, an NSG commando who gets on a train to see his girlfriend Tulika after finding out she is engaged to someone else. When a group of dacoits attacks the train, the trip takes a tragic turn, and a horrific fight for survival breaks out.

Tanya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Harsh Chhaya also have important parts in the cast.

What's next for Dhruv Vikram?

After playing Kittan, an aspiring kabaddi player who wants to represent India worldwide in the critically acclaimed film Bison, Dhruv is expected to work with Mani Ratnam on his next movie. But there has been no formal word on the project yet.

Fans are waiting for word on both the Kill remake and his upcoming lineup, but Dhruv Vikram is still the center of interest in the industry.
