Ram Charan is all set for his next big film, Peddi. The makers recently released the first shot glimpse giving fans a sneak peek into Ram Charan's rugged and intense role. The short video quickly went viral. Within just 24 hours, it reached over 36.5 million views on the official YouTube channel of Vriddhi Cinemas.
The response to the glimpse was overwhelming. Viewers were impressed by the unique presentation and Ram Charan’s rugged appearance. His look featuring long hair, a thick beard and a nose ring stood out. Also many praised his use of Vizianagaram slang and strong dialogue delivery. Meanwhile Peddi glimpse has broken records too. It outperformed Jr. NTR’s Devara teaser in terms of view count making it one of the most watched Telugu film previews in such a short time.
The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana who scored a blockbuster with his debut film Uppena. This drama filled with high energy action features a strong cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma. It is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru and is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026.
