Ram Charan praises Subham

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently enjoying the success of her first movie as a producer, the Telugu horror-comedy Subham, which has received a lot of praise from critics and viewers alike.

Telugu superstar Ram Charan recently congratulated Samantha on her remarkable filmmaking debut and offered his support for the movie, which added to the joyous atmosphere. The RRR actor posted a promotional poster of Subham on social media site X, expressing his enthusiasm for the movie.

“Hearing great things about #Subham from families! The trailer looks super fun, and I can’t wait to catch it with my family. We must encourage unique and refreshing films like this! Congratulations to my dearest @Samanthaprabhu2 on a fantastic start as a producer! Kudos to the team!” wrote Ram Charan.

Samantha, touched by the gesture, reposted his message on Instagram Stories and responded warmly, saying, “Thank you dearest @alwaysramcharan, for always being kind and supportive. Your words truly mean a lot.”

Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud are among the ensemble cast members of Subham, which is directed by Praveen Kandregula.

The story centres on the lives of three eccentric couples whose ordinary routines devolve into supernatural chaos. It is set in the coastal town of Bheemili in the early 2000s.

The women's obsession with the fictional television soap opera Janma Janmala Bandham, which stars Raja Babu and Sita Mahalakshmi, thickens the plot. The soap opera's unsettling psychological impact on its female audience gives the story of the movie a distinctive and timely social twist.

The Deccan Chronicle claims that Netflix purchased the digital rights to Subham prior to its theatrical debut. The movie is anticipated to begin streaming in the second week of June, though the producers have not yet confirmed the official OTT premiere date.

Samantha will next be seen with Aditya Roy Kapur and Ali Fazal in the web series Rakt Brahmand.
