Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan's King shoot delayed due to India-Pakistan tensions: Report

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is going to be seen with his daughter Suhana Khan in the much-anticipated King. And now reports are that the shoot schedule of SRK and Suhana's film is going to be delayed due to the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan were to start shooting for the movie on May 16, 2025.

According to a report in the Times of India, the shoot of King has been postponed to July–August.

King, which is being directed by Pathaan filmmaker Siddharth Anand, has been in the news for its star cast, as it marks the big screen debut of SRK's daughter Suhana Khan.

According to reports, due to the current tensions between India and Pakistan, the production team of King has decided to be cautious and planned the shoot dates accordingly.

The present situation, albeit under ceasefire, remains uncertain, necessitating a possible postponement of the production schedule to guarantee a safer and more suitable shooting environment.

In addition to this, the delay is also due to some creative decisions. Reports further suggest that Shah Rukh Khan has requested some changes and refinements in the storyline to make sure that it does justice to Suhana Khan’s debut.

The actor wants a perfect script that will serve as a great launchpad for Suhana.

Joining Suhana and SRK will be Abhay Verma of Munjya fame and Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist. There are also reports that Deepika Padukone will also be joining SRK and Suhana. She is most likely to play the role of Suhana's mother.

Due to the ongoing political situation, even Kamal Haasan's Thug Life and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par have also been rescheduled.

King will have some high-octane action sequences and it is going to be the story of a father-daughter relationship. All eyes will be on the movie as and when it releases. Keep watching this space for more.
