Kriti Sanon has been making headlines lately, especially after celebrating Christmas with her rumored boyfriend, Kabir Bahia, and enjoying a fun time with MS Dhoni and friends in Dubai. However, a recent claim by a netizen, allegedly a former college mate, has stirred controversy, accusing Kriti of cheating on her college boyfriend.
During an interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Kriti Sanon was asked if she had ever been cheated on, to which she candidly replied, "Of course." However, a comment on the video stirred some controversy, with a netizen claiming that Kriti was from their college, Jaypee University. The commenter alleged that at that time, she was in a relationship with a wealthy boyfriend who financially supported her and even helped her move to Mumbai, where they reportedly lived together. "However, when she landed her first movie role, her behavior changed dramatically, and after about six months, Kriti ended up cheating on him," the netizen stated.
Despite the claims, Kriti Sanon’s fans swiftly rallied to her defense. On a Reddit thread, numerous supporters expressed their unwavering support for the actress. One comment read, “This is fake and even I can write this with calling myself her friend or ex boyfriend, this has been someone who hates kriti sanon.” While another fan commented, "Anyone can cook up such a random story in the comments to vilify the person. I’ve literally read thousands of comments claiming they went to her school or college lol."
A netizen also commented, questioning the claim, pointing out that Kriti Sanon comes from a well-off family, with her father being a CA and her mother a professor at DU, suggesting she never lacked money.
On the work front, Kriti Sanon was recently seen in Do Patti, where she portrayed a double role alongside Kajol. She also starred in Shahid Kapoor starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew, a female-led heist comedy featuring Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan, all of which were well-received by the audience.
