Navina Bole hits back at Bakhtyar for questioning her allegations on Sajid Khan

In response to Bakhtyar's criticism, Navina Bole asked him to view her entire interview before making any judgements.

Navina Bole recently opened up about an unsettling incident from 2006, alleging that filmmaker Sajid Khan had asked her to undress under the guise of an audition. In response, actor Bakhtyar lashed out at her for speaking up years later, accusing her of targeting someone conveniently and questioning her long silence.

Commenting on Navina's accusations, Bakhtyar stated, “Sorry but why did you go home for a meeting? Meetings normally happen at offices or public places. Women of 1980s or women of 2025 then and now both always knew the basics…I am sorry but stop making easy targets now…when did this happen? Why didn’t you come out then? With all due respect to all women, it is high time we stop giving interviews after 30 days of the incident…that much time is enough to get brains and courage."

She responded saying, “Firstly, it is saddening that you would question the authenticity of what I have said, considering we have been colleagues. The interview starts with me saying I went assuming it was his office, which turned out to be his residence. It happened in 2006. Watch the entire podcast to know the details. Not that I even owe someone like you an explanation. Also, this was in response to a question I was asked regarding my experience with the casting couch. I did not call the press or initiated talking about it. So please, next time you cast aspersions on anyone think twice. I have brains and courage and thus spoke my truth and I stand by it."

For those unaware, earlier this month, Navina Bole alleged that director Sajid Khan had asked her to “remove her clothes” during a meeting at his residence. The actress called him a “terrible man” and recounted how he — along with several others in the industry — showed blatant disrespect towards women.

Navina Bole is known for her work in the popluar television show Ishqzaade. She has also worked in several other shows such as Miley Jab Hum Tum, Jeannie Aur Juju, Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo among others.
