Nargis Fakhri is thrilled with the amazing response to the re-release of the movie 'Rockstar.' The film, originally released in 2011, hit theaters again and shared the big screen with other movies like 'Tamasha' and 'Jab We Met.' Over 12 years after its first release, 'Rockstar' has not only returned to theaters but has also been a big hit with audiences once again. It has earned Rs 1.10 crore in just two weeks and has been seen by over 100,000 people. Due to its success, theaters have decided to keep it running into a third week.

"The response to the re-release of ‘Rockstar’ has made me very emotional. I wish I could enjoy the response in person! To be honest, people’s love for the film has taken me back in time when the film had released for the first time. And over 12 years later, seeing people respond to the film in this manner, it feels like it is my debut again. When we were working on the film, we didn’t know we were making a cult classic that would age like a fine wine. I still get DMs from fans about how the film resonated with them. Time has flown but the emotions that the film evoked back then have remained the same. I am super honoured that I am a part of such a film," Nargis shared excitedly.

The movie 'Rockstar,' directed by Imtiaz Ali, is known for its deep and moving story. It's a film that many say gets better with time. This recent success in theaters shows just how much it still touches people's hearts. The film originally made about Rs 69 crore during its initial release, and its enduring popularity is clear from the recent box office numbers and audience turnout.

The re-release of 'Rockstar' has also helped bring more people back to theaters, which had been seeing fewer moviegoers despite several new releases. The film's success proves that a good story and powerful performances can still draw crowds.

Nargis Fakhri, who played the role of Heer in the film, expressed how the renewed interest in 'Rockstar' has been a touching experience for her. It's like reliving her debut, filled with the same excitement and joy. The appreciation and messages from fans have been a testament to the film's lasting impact.

Overall, the re-release of 'Rockstar' not only brings back a beloved film but also revives the magic that cinema can bring, reconnecting audiences with memorable stories and performances that stand the test of time.

Talking about Nargis Fakhri, she has been busy with some notable projects recently and has exciting plans for the future.
