The much-anticipated project, The Paradise, has experienced an unanticipated delay. Originally scheduled for floors in May, several obstacles have now pushed the shoot to August 2025.
What is causing the delay?
Sources claim that among the main causes of the delay are set work delays. Though it is absolutely important for the story of the movie, the production design has taken more time than expected to come about.
To get ready for his part in the movie, Nani has also been working through intensive training and rehearsals. According to the actor, he is stretching his limits for a character metamorphosis, which also requires more time than first projected.
Timeline of production and release changes
Sudhakar Cherukiri is funding The Paradise; he wants to finish the movie on a closely packed schedule once the shoot starts. Indicating the scope and ambition of the project, Saregama has also joined as a co-producer. Originally scheduled for a March 2026 release, the movie's premiere most likely will take place in May 2026 in line with the extended production schedule.
Meanwhile, Nani, being a producer, is super busy listening to scripts for his production as well. He also has a project with Rahul Sankrtiyan, with whom he previously made Shyam Singha Roy. It was also said that he would be doing a film with Sujeeth of OG fame. This project was officially announced as well. More details awaited.
