
After the release and blockbuster hit of Pawan Kalyan’s OG, director Sujeeth has made place in the list of the most popular directors across the South and also a bankable one. The film made more than Rs 300 crores at the box office. Now all eyes are on his line up of films and mostly the one he is doing with Natural Star Nani.
The upcoming film starring Nani is already creating strong buzz even before release. The makers have now locked a major OTT deal with Netflix. According to reports, Netflix has acquired the digital rights at a record price for a Tier 2 Telugu film. As per a report on Telugu Chithralu, this deal is said to be more than ten percent higher than the amount paid for The Paradise.
The film is said to be an action comedy entertainer and is reportedly titled Bloody Romeo. The story of the film is expected to mix action, emotion and fun. The project officially began with a pooja ceremony on October 2 2025. Nani attended the event and shared his excitement with fans.
Recent reports also suggest that Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also part of the film. His role details are not yet revealed but sources say it will be an important character. This will be Prithviraj’s third collaboration with a Telugu star after Salaar with Prabhas and Varanasi with Mahesh Babu.
The film was first announced under the DVV banner but is now being produced by Niharika Entertainments. The movie is expected to release in theatres in December 2026 though the final date is yet to be announced.
Director Sujeeth is coming after the big success of They Call Him OG which starred Pawan Kalyan and performed very well in 2025. Actor Nani is currently busy with The Paradise and will join this film after completing that shoot.
