Katherine "Kitty" Song Covey is all set to return to explore romance, family history and studies once again in Netflix’s XO, Kitty Season 3. This time, Lana Condor's Lara Jean will also return to help her little sister to navigate through the chaos of life.
Netflix dropped the full-length trailer of XO, Kitty Season 3, and fans can’t keep calm as the To All The Boys franchise's Lara Jean is back.
The trailer was shared with the caption, “If you need me, I’ll be replaying this XO, KITTY trailer and overanalyzing every frame.” The trailer also revealed that XO, Kitty Season 3 will premiere on April 2, 2026.
In the new season, Kitty gets ready for her final year at the Korean International School of Seoul (KISS). Kitty creates a "summer sunset" bucket list to make the most of her senior year, which includes things like attending a traditional Chuseok meal, checking in with Sang Heon Lee's character Min Ho, and applying to colleges.
The teaser suggests that Kitty's year might not start as easily as she had hoped. During a gondola trip, she is seen trying to clarify her friendship with Min Ho when a phone call interrupts their talk. She unintentionally spills juice on Eunice shortly after, which is a warning that her senior year may be full of surprises.
The trailer gets more dramatic as it introduces Min Ho’s father, Mr Moon, played by Philippe Lee. He tells Kitty in one scene, “I know you mean well, but you’re trying to fit in a world that you don’t understand.”
Kitty seems to also navigate cultural and personal challenges at KISS.
A new character is also hinted at in the trailer. Actor Sule Thelwell, who makes his debut in the series as Marius, is pitted against Kitty and Min Ho in a heated game of beer pong, bringing a new dimension to the school's social scene.
Following the exciting cameos by Janel Parrish and Noah Centineo in Season 2, Lana Condor made her first appearance in the series.
Kitty turns to her older sister, Lara Jean, for guidance as she battles uncertainty and diversions.
Lara Jean reassures Kitty, telling her, “Whatever happens with Min Ho, we can’t just stop living our lives.”
She adds, “We have to follow our hearts and trust that it will lead us to our next great adventure.”
Behind-the-scenes changes also occur in season 3 with Jessica O'Toole being replaced as showrunner by Valentina Garza, who also acts as an executive producer and writer. Alongside Bradley Gardner and Matt Kaplan, Jenny Han, who created the series, is still an executive producer.
