Maxxxine premiere: Mia Goth and Halsey encapsulate 70s chic

Halsey, who plays Tabby in the film, shun bright with a gold sparkly dress and voluminous hair reminiscent of a 70s pop star.

The much awaited third instalment in the Ti West slasher trilogy, Maxxxine, will hit theatres next week on 2 July. The cast has assembled on the red carpet for the premiere of the slasher film at Hollywood.

Mia Goth, portraying the iconic Maxine, stunned on the red carpet wearing a black body con dress with leather around the chest and a dramatic back with a slit behind.

Halsey, who plays Tabby in the film, shun bright with a gold sparkly dress and voluminous hair reminiscent of a 70s pop star. The outfit stays true to the singer’s latest era, The End, as well. Many are speculating whether Halsey’s fifth album will take inspiration from 70s pop rock.

Kevin Bacon, playing John Labat, a private investigator, graced the premiere with a snazzy pink suit with a grey undershirt. The actor paired the look with sunglasses.

Moses Sumney looked incredibly fire on the red carpet with an all black ensemble and a ruffled overcoat with leather pants. Moses Sumney plays Leon Green in the film.

Lily Collins looked gorgeous wearing a cyan coloured suit with shorts and a gold breastplate-esque jewellery that went from her neck to her stomach. Collins plays Molly Bennett, an actress in The Puritan II.

Last Thursday, Ti West and A24 pulled off a killer surprise with an early screening of Maxxxine to a group of unsuspecting viewers. The theatre was supposed to screen a double feature of X and Pearl. The evening brought out all horror geeks, some dressed up as Pearl, to the theatres only for them to find out that it is an early screening of Maxxxine. That wasn’t even the best part, after the credits rolled, Ti West and Lily Collins joined the audience for a Q&A session.
