Halsey finally reveals a new song out tomorrow, says, ‘It’s just for us’

Singer songwriter Halsey has been teasing us fans for the longest time with her cryptic website ‘For My Last Trick’ but yesterday, her announcement has made us all emotional.

The website is filled with trippy stickers that feel like they are from the 70s. Most of them are functionless but if you click on a movie stub with ‘The End’ written on it, you get a typewritten letter from Ashley Frangipane (Halsey’s actual name).

Dated “6/?/71”, the letter reads - “Hello, it’s Halsey. It’s been a while. As you may have guessed, I have written a new album. I needed some time to figure out how to say what I needed to say. You see, I’ve been holding ——- (This part was blacked out by Halsey) and I need to let it out. There’s so much I am going to reveal on this record, but you need to know some of the story first. So before the chaos and confetti of big singles and album releases I just need to tell you, my friend, why it all matters this time. I’m releasing a new song on June 4. It’s just for us. Let’s start at The End.”

Is the title for her fifth album ‘The End’?! We need to know right now. June 4 couldn’t come soon enough.

Halsey’s last album ‘If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power’ was an empowering record with legends Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross producing the album. Halsey also released an album film which was devastating and powerful.

Halsey’s creative prowess is evolving with every album and she always delivers a better project than the last. Her new era, which is reminiscent of Ti West’s slasher ‘X’, is going to make us cry, cry and cry.

Halsey will also be seen in the last part of the Ti West slasher trilogy ‘Maxxxine’ starring Mia Goth. Halsey will play the character of Tabby. The official description of the film reads - “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
