Mindy Kaling reveals she secretly welcomed her third baby in February

Kaling usually chooses to keep her kids’ faces off of social media, "I feel like I might as well wait until they get old enough so they can tell me if they want to be part of my social media or not.”

Hollywood actress Mindy Kaling quietly gave birth to her third baby, a girl named Anne in February of this year. She shared the heartwarming news on her social media account on Monday, 24 June.

Posting a wholesome picture of her baby girl Anne with with her daughter Katherine "Kit," 6, and son Spencer, 3, the Mindy Project alum reflected on her journey and growth as a mother. She also shared pictures of her baby bump and of her in the hospital bed talking to her children.

“In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined,” Kaling began.

She continued, “When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life. I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!”

Since she welcomed her first child in 2017, Kaling, who has never revealed who the father of her children is, has been busy taking care of her children. In 2021, The Office actress revealed that “it absolutely takes a village.” She revealed that the village includes her nanny, her father Avu, and none other than Reese Witherspoon, whom Kaling called "a great source of parenting advice.”

She added that its a tad bit difficult to follow protocol, “I’m like any parent where I'm proud of the things they do. I think they're so cute, and of course, I want other people to see it.”
