The romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi, starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh, has garnered a positive response from audiences, with many praising the performances of the lead cast and the film's humorous elements. However, while the film showed consistent box office collections during its opening weekend, it has showed a decline on its third day.

According to Sacnilk, on its third day of release, Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned ₹0.02 crore (2 lakh rupees), bringing its total to ₹3.17 crore.

The film’s opening day (Friday, 21 February) saw a healthy collection of ₹1.5 crore, but despite early positive reviews from critics and audiences, the film’s performance did not show much of an increase on day two and three, and instead, its collections remained steady or even declined slightly.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh under Pooja Entertainment, the film features a star-studded cast including Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh in leading roles.

Supporting actors such as Aditya Seal, Dino Morea, Shakti Kapoor, Mukesh Rishi, Kanwaljit Singh, Anita Raj, and Harsh Gujral also play key roles.

The plot centres on Ankur Chadha (Arjun Kapoor), a man who is still haunted by his ex-wife Prabhleen Dhillon (Bhumi Pednekar), who is his polar opposite. Just as Ankur begins to fall for Antara Khanna (Rakul Preet Singh), an unexpected twist occurs—Prabhleen suffers from retrograde amnesia and believes Ankur has just proposed to her. This sets the stage for a series of chaotic, comedic moments and surprising turns.

A part of Moneycontrol.com review read, "One of the film’s biggest strengths is Harsh Gujral, who plays Ankur’s best friend, Harsh. His impeccable comic timing and effortless delivery make him the scene-stealer. Every time he appears on screen, he guarantees laughter, making his character one of the film’s highlights." The film thrives on situational humour and clever one-liners, with Gujral injecting much-needed energy into the narrative, especially when it begins to feel predictable.
