BTS’ Jungkook once again became the centre of intense online discussion after his latest airport appearance triggered fresh speculation about his relationship with HYBE. The singer, who had quietly travelled abroad for a private schedule, was photographed returning to Korea.
Although airport appearances by BTS members are not unusual, this one sparked a flurry of rumours for a different reason. A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) questioned the vehicle that picked him up, with one user noting that it didn’t look like the typical company car HYBE uses for BTS. The post fuelled assumptions that Jungkook may have chosen a luxury vehicle independently.

Has BigHit/Hybe a contract with the British luxury car company now and changed from Hyundai to Bentley Limousines? It’s part of the German Volkswagen Group. 👀 pic.twitter.com/01938kf7zO— CalicoCat¹³ 🐾🐥🐰 (@CalicoCat13_13) November 19, 2025
But fans quickly stepped in to analyse the situation more closely. Several ARMYs pointed out that the license plate appeared to be associated with a corporate fleet. This led to a counter-theory that HYBE might have recently updated its transportation services or entered into new partnerships, rather than Jungkook switching to a personal car.
This comes at a time when discourse surrounding HYBE and the BTS members is particularly charged. Over the past few years, a growing number of fans have advocated for the members to part ways with the label, citing concerns ranging from overwork to creative control. Although none of the members have indicated such intentions publicly, the online speculation persists.

Jungkook’s return also drew attention for another reason earlier this week, when a Dispatch reporter approached him at the airport and he candidly asked, “How did you know and come (here)?” Fans praised the singer for calling out the invasion of privacy.
Meanwhile a third trespassing attempt has been reported at Jungkook’s residence, this time involving a Japanese woman who allegedly tried to access his home earlier this month. Yongsan Police Precinct said that the woman is under suspicion of attempted trespassing.
