BTS’s Jungkook is once again the talk of global fandoms, this time for directly questioning a reporter who showed up at the airport despite the idol’s schedule being completely private.

Jungkook had reportedly been in Paris for an undisclosed engagement, with no official announcement from HYBE. Still, scattered fan sightings online revealed his presence in the city, leading many to speculate that he was there for work-related commitments.

On November 19, Jungkook quietly returned to South Korea. Unlike typical airport appearances that attract large crowds, only a few outlets appeared to know about his arrival, one of them being Dispatch. The unexpected media presence immediately caught Jungkook off guard.

In a now-viral clip, a Dispatch reporter casually asked him, “Jungkook, is the Kancho thing over now?”

Jungkook responded, “How did you know and come (here)?” The reporter then said, “Oh, it came out that you were in Paris.”

Jungkook’s unusual blunt reaction struck a chord with fans. Many praised him for confronting the reporter and subtly calling out the invasion of his privacy. Others expressed frustration that even with unannounced, private schedules, certain outlets continue tracking idols’ movements.

Meanwhile a third trespassing attempt has been reported at Jungkook’s residence, this time involving a Japanese woman who allegedly tried to access his home earlier this month. Yongsan Police Precinct said that the woman is under suspicion of attempted trespassing.

According to officers, she repeatedly pressed the digital door lock at Jungkook’s home between Wednesday and Friday before a report was filed at the end of the week.

Earlier, Jungkook had addressed the matter during a livestream. He recounted watching the situation unfold on his home surveillance system. “When the police arrived, she tried to flee in a panic, opening the door to the basement parking lot. Everything is recorded, so the evidence is all there and you’ll just get dragged away. If you don’t want to end up at a police station, never come here,” he warned fans bluntly.
